About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Malone Check Aqua/Leaf has the natural texture and lightly relaxed handle you expect from a linen fabric. The check is set at an approximate vertical repeat of 23cm and horizontal repeat of 20cm, with a width of approximately 142cm. In this colourway, the ground reads as a muted oatmeal-beige while the checks are drawn in washed aqua, pale green and chalky white, keeping the overall effect cool and quiet rather than bright. The fine weave and softened colour contrast make it feel tailored but unfussy, with enough presence to hold a room without overpowering it. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway on relaxed upholstery, loose covers or Roman blinds where its soft aqua and leaf tones can sit against timber, painted joinery and pale stone. It pairs especially well with natural linens, weathered oak and gentle sage accents.

An easy country check that brings a fresh, tailored feel to upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Malone Check Aqua/Leaf without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
