Waltham Stripe Red

Edgar Chks & Stps FabricF4519-07

Waltham Stripe Red is a narrow vertical stripe with a clear, tailored rhythm and a softly textured linen surface. The warm red stripes sit against an ivory ground, giving the fabric a fresh but traditional feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this stripe has the dry, natural handle and lightly slubbed texture you can see in the cloth. The repeat is V 0cm / H 7cm approx, so the design reads as a precise, evenly spaced stripe with no vertical pattern shift. Its red is warm rather than bright, softened by the ivory ground into a restrained, heritage look. At 152cm approx wide, it is a practical cloth for curtains or upholstery where a neat stripe and natural linen character are wanted.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, banquette, or roman blind where the 7cm stripe can run cleanly and add structure. The warm red works especially well with oak, painted cream, and muted green accents.

Pair this crisp stripe with painted timber and calm neutrals for a tailored, classic look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
