About this fabric

This colourway has a soft, muted blue ground with slim cream and beige stripes that keep the pattern feeling fresh and restrained. The linen-and-cotton composition gives the surface a natural, lightly textured look, while the vertical stripe layout creates a neat, elongated rhythm. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 24cm approx. and a width of 141cm approx., it is an easy fabric to plan for larger seating pieces or curtains alike. The colour sits in a cool, washed range rather than a saturated navy or teal, so it brings clarity without feeling stark. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use it where you want a refined coastal note without overt nautical contrast: on an armchair, a Roman blind or full-length curtains, the pale blue keeps the room feeling open. It works especially well with limestone, bleached timber and soft grey upholstery.

Pairs neatly with pale oak, chalk white and muted brass for a calm, tailored room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bendell Stripe Old Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
