Sackville Blue

Eaton Checks and Stripes FabricF4001-02

Sackville Blue is a neat, finely striped fabric with a cool chalky blue character softened by pale ground tones. The narrow repeat gives it a measured, tailored look rather than a bold contrast.

About this fabric

Woven in 84% viscose and 16% linen, Sackville Blue has the smoothness and slight sheen of viscose balanced by the natural texture of linen. The stripe reads as a delicate blue on a light neutral ground, with the vertical lines spaced at an approximate 1cm horizontal repeat and a width of 144cm. In this colourway the blue is light, airy and slightly weathered, which keeps the design crisp without feeling sharp. With no performance features noted, it suits decorative schemes where a refined striped surface is wanted rather than a heavy utility cloth.

How to use it

Use Sackville Blue on a tailored armchair, blind or cushion where its pale blue stripe can add order without overpowering the room. It sits especially well with white paint, weathered timber and other softened coastal or country tones.

A crisp, tailored stripe that feels fresh on upholstery or quietly refined at the window.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
