About this fabric

Woven in 84% viscose and 16% linen, this fabric has a smooth, lightly textured handle and a restrained dry sheen that suits its understated palette. The repeat is a very small vertical stripe, with the design running cleanly through the width at approximately 1cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat. In the swatch, the beige sits between putty and pale oatmeal, warmed by a gentle creamy cast rather than a yellow tone. At approximately 144cm wide, it is a versatile cloth for upholstery or drapery, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code with √BM fire code supports practical use in the home.

How to use it

Use Sackville Beige on a tailored sofa, slubbed armchair or simple interlined curtains where the fine stripe can add quiet structure. Its soft beige tone pairs well with oak, stone, taupe and muted green accents.

A quiet neutral with a fine vertical stripe, ideal for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sackville Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
