Malone Check Red/Green

Edgar Chks & Stps FabricF4518-01

Malone Check Red/Green is a classic woven check with a bright, airy feel against a warm neutral ground. The red lines and softer green striping give it a fresh country-house character without feeling heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the slightly crisp, natural handle you expect from a linen cloth, with a visible weave that keeps the check looking clear and orderly. The repeat is approximately V 23cm by H 20cm, creating a medium-scale plaid that reads confidently from a distance while still showing detail up close. In this colourway, the red stripes are lively but not harsh, softened by the creamy base and the muted green accents that run through the pattern. With a width of approximately 142cm and a fire code of √CM, it is a practical decorative fabric for a range of interiors.

How to use it

Use it to bring a fresh, tailored note to cushions, loose covers or café curtains, especially where the warm cream ground can lighten the room. The red-and-green palette sits neatly with painted timber, natural oak and relaxed country fabrics.

A lively linen check that works well for relaxed rooms, window treatments or easy upholstered accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
