Eaton Check Red/Green

Eaton Checks and Stripes FabricF1001-21

Eaton Check Red/Green shows a bold woven check in rose red, soft green and cream, with a gently slubby surface that softens the geometry. The colourway feels bright and country-leaning rather than sharp, thanks to the muted, sun-warmed tones in the weave.

About this fabric

This Colefax and Fowler fabric is woven in 82% Viscose and 18% Linen, giving the check a smooth but lightly textured handle that still reads relaxed. The repeat is approximately V 12cm / H 12cm, and the 140cm approx width makes it a practical cloth for larger runs. In this colourway, the red sits between coral and rose, while the green is pale and grassy, so the overall effect is fresh, airy and slightly nostalgic. Cream ground notes keep the palette from feeling heavy, and the woven texture adds depth without losing the crisp check structure.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, bench cushion or tailored blind where the large check can be seen clearly. It pairs well with painted timber, wicker and other soft neutrals, letting the rose red and green read as a lively but easy accent.

A cheerful large check that brings a fresh country feel to relaxed interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
