Eaton Check Forest Green

Eaton Checks and Stripes FabricF1001-32

Eaton Check Forest Green is a calm checked fabric with a softly washed green-and-cream palette. The square check reads medium in scale, with a lightly slubby surface that keeps the design feeling natural rather than crisp.

About this fabric

Woven in 82% viscose and 18% linen, Eaton Check Forest Green has a fluid, lightly textured handle that suits both upholstery and curtains. The approx. 12cm vertical and horizontal repeat gives the check a clear, orderly rhythm without becoming bold or oversized. In this colourway, the green sits in a muted forest-to-sage range, softened by creamy ground squares that lift the overall effect and stop it feeling heavy. The weave catches the light in places, giving some blocks a slightly lustrous, silkier look against the more matte linen character of the cloth. Fire code √BM and care code Q 8 + T 3 are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it to bring a gentle country-house note to armchairs, cushions or relaxed blinds, especially alongside painted timber and natural wood. Its soft green and cream balance works well with warm neutrals, aged brass and other muted botanical tones.

A fresh checked cloth that works beautifully on simple upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Eaton Check Forest Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
