Eaton Check Sage

Eaton Checks and Stripes FabricF1001-10

Eaton Check Sage shows a fresh sage-and-cream check with a softly washed, slightly slubby surface. The larger squares give it an open, easy rhythm that feels light rather than fussy.

About this fabric

Woven in 82% viscose and 18% linen, this fabric has the smoother handle and gentle sheen you would expect from a viscose-rich cloth, with the linen adding a more natural, lightly textured finish. The check repeats at approximately 12cm vertically and horizontally, creating a bold but orderly pattern that reads clearly across wider upholstery pieces and curtains alike. In this colourway, the sage green is muted and cool-leaning, set against a soft ivory ground that keeps the overall effect airy and calm. With an approximate width of 140cm and a fire code of √BM, it is a versatile furnishing fabric for relaxed interiors.

How to use it

Use Eaton Check Sage on a simple armchair, bench seat or gathered curtains to bring a clean country note without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with pale oak, painted trim and brushed brass, where the soft green check can stay fresh and understated.

Pair with natural woods and chalky neutrals for a fresh country-house feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
