Amarantha Forest/Green

Ellerdine FabricF4945-02

Amarantha Forest/Green pairs a cream ground with a repeating medallion and diagonal leaf motif in layered green tones. The palette feels fresh but grounded, with deeper forest notes giving the design more contrast and definition.

About this fabric

This Ellerdine fabric is woven in a 58% linen, 28% polyester and 14% acrylic blend, with a width of approximately 128cm and a repeat of V 39cm / H 64cm. The design shows circular floral medallions linked by narrow diagonal sprigs, all set on a warm ivory ground. In this colourway, the greens range from soft sage to deeper forest and teal-tinged accents, so the pattern reads crisp rather than heavy. The linen content gives the surface a natural, slightly dry look, while the polyester and acrylic help the fabric hold its pattern clearly. With no performance features noted, it is a decorative woven suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a smart, patterned finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use this green-on-cream palette to bring pattern into a study, dining room or bedroom without overwhelming the scheme. It sits well with oak, painted joinery and other muted botanicals, especially where a tailored country-house feel is wanted.

Use with warm neutrals and dark wood for a collected, tailored feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Amarantha Forest/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
