Cotley Forest

Bampton FabricF4897-05

Cotley Forest is a finely textured plain in a soft, muted forest green with a quietly mottled surface. The close weave gives it a natural, understated look rather than a flat solid finish.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a subdued woodland green with a greyed, slightly mossy cast, so it feels calm rather than bright. Its small-scale woven texture is visible across the surface, adding depth without introducing a motif, and the 139cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of interior projects. The composition of 61% viscose, 19% cotton, 11% linen and 9% polyester gives the cloth a soft, tailored handle with a lightly textural appearance. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it is a plain design that can sit neatly alongside patterned furnishings. The √CH fire code is noted for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Cotley Forest on an occasional chair, sofa or headboard where its hushed green will bring a grounded, natural note. It also works well for curtains in rooms with oak, stone or painted joinery, where the muted tone can echo surrounding materials.

A versatile muted green that works cleanly on upholstery or curtains for a calm, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
