Tobago Foret

Palto FabricM4110-06

Tobago Foret is a finely patterned green fabric with a compact, all-over animal-style motif on a pale ground. The effect is lively but controlled, with the darker forest tone keeping the design crisp rather than busy.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted forest green motif scattered across a light beige ground, giving the pattern a fresh, woodland feel with a soft vintage edge. The small repeat of approximately V 20cm / H 18cm helps the design read as a dense texture from a distance and as a more decorative spot pattern up close. Woven in 55% Polyester and 45% Viscose, it has enough body for upholstery while still being suitable for drapery at 140cm wide. The overall finish feels smart and slightly relaxed, with the green standing out clearly without becoming harsh.

How to use it

Use Tobago Foret to add a sharp botanical note to neutral upholstery, where the forest green can sit against oak, linen and tan leather. It also makes a distinctive curtain or blind in rooms that need pattern without a heavy colour hit.

A small-scale green animal print that works neatly on tailored seating or structured curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tobago Foret without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
