Tobago Celeste

Palto FabricM4110-07

Tobago Celeste is a small-scale abstract pattern in a cool celeste blue, set over a pale ground that keeps the overall effect fresh and airy. The stippled, irregular motif gives the fabric a lively, textural look rather than a flat print.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric has a 140cm approximate width and is woven in 55% polyester and 45% viscose, giving the surface a soft, slightly lustrous handle. The repeat is approximately V 20cm / H 18cm, which suits the scattered, pebble-like pattern visible in the swatch. In this colourway, the blue reads as a muted mid-to-light tone with a gentle grey cast, so it feels cooler and calmer than a brighter sky blue. The pale background helps the motif sit clearly on the surface without becoming heavy, making the design feel crisp and contemporary. Fire code K and care code Q 8 < T 3 are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

This celeste palette works well on an occasional chair, cushion set or upholstered headboard where the patterned blue can stay light and controlled. Pair it with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed metal for a crisp room, or with deeper navy and sand for more contrast.

Use for a lively accent chair or compact sofa with natural wood and pale neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
