About this fabric

The Ardoise colourway is defined by its slate-blue background, which gives the pale blossoms and soft coral-pink flowers a particularly crisp yet gentle contrast. Fine stems, rounded berries and varied leaves fill the design, while the larger blooms provide clear focal points across the repeat. The supplied specification is 100% polyester, with a vertical repeat of 104cm in a half-drop and an approximate horizontal repeat of 130cm. This substantial repeat allows the sweeping branches and clustered flowers to read as a continuous garden scene across the wall.

How to use it

Pair the cool blue-grey ground with chalky whites, sage greens and warm natural wood, using blush or muted coral accents to pick up the flowers. It will bring an enveloping, decorative quality to a bedroom, study or formal sitting room.

Use this cool blue-grey ground to give bedrooms, studies or drawing rooms a richly botanical, collected feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Coromandel Wallcovering Ardoise without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
