About this fabric

The large-scale scene shows striped and lattice-work balloons, suspended baskets and ornate vessel-like forms, all rendered in a finely illustrated style. This wallpaper is made from 100% non-woven material. Its repeat measures approximately 94cm vertically on a half drop and 68.5cm horizontally, allowing the balloon groupings to continue with visible variation across the wall. Ciel reads as a cool, softened blue colourway rather than a deep navy, with pale blue washes and grey-violet outlines giving the pattern a light, gently weathered depth.

How to use it

Pair the cool periwinkle and soft white ground with chalky blue joinery, pale timber and restrained brass accents. The generous repeat is especially effective on a feature wall where the floating balloons can be read at full scale.
