Manuel Canovas

Macaya Mer

Paros FabricM4170-01

Macaya Mer has a light, airy stripe that mixes soft aqua, pale blue and muted sage over an ivory ground. The fine slubbed texture keeps the look relaxed and slightly washed, rather than crisp.

About this fabric

This Paros fabric by Manuel Canovas is woven in 100% polyolefin and has a repeat of V 0cm / H 74cm approx, with a width of 144cm approx. In this colourway, slender vertical stripes alternate between chalky ivory spaces and threadlike bands of aqua, grey-blue and soft olive, giving the design a cool, seaside freshness. The surface reads subtly textured and lightly irregular, which softens the stripe and adds depth without making it busy. Its width and easygoing stripe make it particularly suited to window treatments, while the structure still feels substantial enough for coordinated interior schemes.

How to use it

Use it for curtains, Roman blinds or a relaxed upholstered accent where the soft blue-green striping can brighten a room without feeling sharp. It sits well with white-painted joinery, weathered timber and pale linen textures.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals for a fresh, coastal-feeling room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
