About this fabric

From the Paros collection by Manuel Canovas, Macaya Epices is a 100% Polyolefin fabric with an approx. width of 144cm and a vertical repeat of 0cm / horizontal repeat of 74cm. The swatch reads as a fine, linear stripe with cream ground notes broken by slender bands of sandy beige, pale terracotta and softened taupe. Its surface has a dry, lightly textured look that gives the pattern a woven, relaxed character rather than a glossy finish. The palette feels warm and sun-faded, so the colourway sits comfortably in interiors that need subtle movement without strong contrast.

How to use it

Use Macaya Epices on a tailored armchair, blind or scatter cushions where the warm beige and spice-toned stripes can add quiet pattern. It works especially well beside oak, rattan and chalky painted finishes.

Pair with warm woods and natural linens for an understated, tailored finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Macaya Epices without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
