About this fabric

This textile is from the Saint-Tropez collection by Manuel Canovas and is a fabric, not wallpaper, with a width of approximately 128cm and a vertical repeat of 0cm / horizontal repeat of approximately 16cm. The composition is 84% polypropylene and 16% polyester, which suits a practical woven cloth with a neat, resilient handle. In this colourway, the beige stripe feels warm and sandy rather than grey, while the paler bands give the design a fresh, coastal brightness. The weave has a fine, even texture that keeps the stripe crisp and smart across the surface. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Portofino Sable on banquettes, headboards or bench seating where its soft beige stripe can add order without looking severe. It also suits relaxed curtains or Roman blinds in rooms that want a warm neutral with a little Riviera polish.

A calm striped neutral that works neatly on tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Portofino Sable without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
