About this fabric

Woven in 52% linen and 48% cotton, Sark Ciel has the natural look of a linen-blend fabric with a tactile surface that suits both curtains and upholstery. The ground is a muted beige with a dry, fabric-led texture that lets the bird motif read clearly without feeling heavy. The large vertical repeat of approximately 73cm gives the flying birds plenty of space, so the pattern feels open and rhythmic rather than crowded. Pale blue-grey, white and taupe details keep this colourway cool and relaxed, while the contrast remains gentle enough for a soft, layered interior.

How to use it

Use Sark Ciel on a relaxed upholstered chair, ottoman or pelmet where the pale beige ground can soften the room. It also works well at a window, where the blue-grey birds will sit quietly against timber, stone or painted walls.

A calm sand-toned bird motif that works beautifully across tailored curtains or statement upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
