About this fabric

This striped fabric from Manuel Canovas’ Saint-Tropez collection shows broad navy bands alternating with slender ivory columns, creating a sharp contrast that reads cool and coastal. The surface has a subtle textile grain rather than a glossy finish, so the dark blue feels matte and grounded, while the lighter stripes lift the whole design. It is composed of 84% polypropylene and 16% polyester, with an approximate width of 128cm and a vertical repeat of 0cm / horizontal repeat of 16cm. With care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K, it is a practical choice where a structured striped cloth is wanted.

How to use it

Its navy-and-ivory palette suits pale woods, painted joinery and crisp linen upholstery, especially in rooms that need a defined, nautical edge. Use it on a bench, cushions or relaxed curtains to bring strong vertical line and contrast without adding extra colour.

Use for tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains where the crisp vertical stripe can do the talking.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
