Portofino Celadon

Saint-Tropez FabricM4111-04

Portofino Celadon pairs a soft celadon green with creamy ivory stripes for a fresh, quietly tailored look. The vertical bands feel crisp and ordered, with a gentle woven texture that keeps the colourway from reading flat.

About this fabric

This striped fabric from the Saint-Tropez collection by Manuel Canovas is woven in 84% polypropylene and 16% polyester, with a width of approximately 128cm. The repeat is vertical only at 0cm, while the horizontal repeat is about 16cm, which supports the clean, evenly spaced stripe effect visible in the swatch. In this colourway the green is cool and muted rather than bright, reading as celadon with a soft sea-glass cast against an ivory ground. The cloth has a smooth, dry-looking surface and enough body to suit either upholstery or drapery, depending on the finish you want. Care code C 8 + T 3 and fire code K are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Portofino Celadon where you want a calm coastal note without losing structure: it suits a tailored armchair, bench seat, or relaxed full-length curtains. The muted green stripe works especially well with pale oak, chalk white, and brushed brass.

A fresh celadon stripe that feels airy and tailored on curtains or clean-lined upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Portofino Celadon without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
