About this fabric

This colourway has a delicate celadon tint that sits between green and grey, with a low-contrast finish that keeps it understated rather than sugary or bright. The weave looks fine and regular in the image, with a subtle linen-led texture that stops the surface from appearing flat. Supplied at approximately 134cm wide, the cloth is composed of 40% cotton, 40% viscose and 20% linen, a blend that supports its gentle handle and lightly textural look. With no pattern repeat to manage, it is an easy fabric to plan with for pared-back schemes.

How to use it

Use Ella Celadon to soften painted timber, pale oak and chalky whites, where its cool green note will add freshness without sharp contrast. It is especially suited to smart, relaxed schemes that need colour but still feel hushed.

A restrained celadon works beautifully across tailored upholstery and light curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
