About this fabric
Roma Emeraude from the Roma collection by Manuel Canovas is woven in 100% cotton and has an approximate width of 140cm, making it a practical decorative fabric for a range of uses. The cloth shows fine vertical strié lines across a very dark emerald ground, so the surface feels polished rather than flat. Its horizontal repeat is only about 1cm, with no vertical repeat, which supports the almost plain appearance in the image. The overall effect is a deep forest-to-emerald green with a luxe, shadowy depth that becomes more apparent as the light moves across the weave.
How to use it
This colourway works beautifully on statement upholstery or full-length curtains where the depth of green can read almost black in shade and jewel-bright in daylight. Pair it with brass, smoked glass, or dark timber for a refined, atmospheric scheme.
Use with walnut woods and warm metallics to lift the rich jewel tone.
