Manuel Canovas

Roma Ecorce

Roma FabricM4058-03

Roma Ecorce shows a quiet, vertical stripe in a deep bark-brown shade with a soft matte finish. The effect is tonal rather than contrasty, so the pattern reads as texture first and stripe second.

About this fabric

This Manuel Canovas fabric is woven in 100% cotton and measures 140cm wide approx, with a vertical repeat of 0cm and a horizontal repeat of 1cm approx. In this colourway, the narrow stripes sit in closely related brown tones, creating a subdued surface that feels warm, earthy and slightly shadowed. The weave has a gentle dry handle in the image, which gives the stripes depth without making them look glossy or hard. Its regular, fine scale keeps the design neat and controlled, making it suitable for schemes that want pattern but not high contrast.

How to use it

Use Roma Ecorce to bring warmth to classic upholstery, or hang it at the window where the vertical stripe will quietly elongate the room. It pairs especially well with aged woods, tobacco leather and brushed metal accents.

A restrained bark-brown stripe that works well on tailored seating or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
