Lomond Velvet Emerald combines a deep, mossy emerald ground with layered paisley medallions, scrolling foliage and decorative borders. Rust, ochre, cream and blue-green details give the surface a softly aged, tapestry-like richness.

About this fabric

This 55% viscose, 45% cotton velvet is 137 cm wide and has a substantial 40,000 Martindale rub rating, making it suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The large-scale design is arranged in vertical panels, with oversized paisleys, oval motifs and horizontal bands picked out in muted rust, tobacco, cream and faded teal. Emerald remains the dominant tone, but its depth shifts towards olive and charcoal in the darker areas, while the intricate pattern catches the light with a softly textured, timeworn effect. The vertical pattern repeat is 112 cm and the horizontal repeat is 68.5 cm, so pattern placement should be considered carefully on larger upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use this deep emerald colourway on a statement armchair, ottoman or headboard where its rust and ochre accents can be echoed in cushions and timber tones. It also brings theatrical depth to full-length curtains or a coordinated bedspread in a richly layered room.
