Flying Ducks Emerald

Icons Fabrics FabricFD205.S16

Flying Ducks Emerald combines a warm natural ground with softly muted olive foliage, branching trees and flying birds picked out with small turquoise and ochre accents. The finely illustrated scene has the character of a traditional printed linen while retaining a calm, understated palette.

About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric is 137 cm (53.82") wide and features a 62 cm (24.36") vertical repeat with a 137 cm (53.82") horizontal repeat. Across the surface, stylised birds sweep between layered olive, sage and grey-green trees, with brown branches and occasional emerald-teal and ochre details adding depth. The natural beige ground keeps the woodland composition light, while the visible linen texture gently softens the printed outlines. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; after-care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing or ironing.

How to use it

Use this muted olive colourway on a reading chair, loose-covered sofa or full-length curtains, pairing it with warm beige, aged timber and restrained teal accents. Its natural ground also makes it effective as a patterned bedspread against plain olive or oatmeal upholstery.

A softly illustrated olive-green woodland scene for relaxed upholstery, curtains and layered bedroom schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
