About this fabric

The colour sits between soft olive and grey-green, giving the check a calm, quietly rustic appearance rather than a bright country green. Subtle variations in the wool weave add depth across the ground, while the fine intersecting lines keep the medium-scale pattern defined. Woven from 100% wool, the fabric is 147 cm wide and has a 35,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The supplied care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Soft Lovat on a relaxed armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing its cool muted green with warm timber, stone neutrals and aged brass. It also brings gentle structure to full curtains or a tailored bedspread without overpowering the room.
