Mull Russet brings a warm, earthy depth to the finely gridded Festival design. Its russet-brown ground is crossed with closely spaced lines in softened tan, olive, muted blue and charcoal.

About this fabric

The small-scale check has a layered, textile-rich appearance, with intersecting vertical and horizontal lines creating subtle shifts between russet, brown and cooler muted accents. Woven from 100% wool, Mull Russet is 150 cm (58.93") wide and has a 25,000 Martindale rub test. Its vertical pattern repeat is 10 cm (3.93") and its horizontal repeat is 16.5 cm (6.48"), keeping the check easy to place across upholstery and soft furnishings. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use the russet tone to warm a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with tobacco leather, aged timber and muted olive or blue accents. The close check also brings gentle structure to curtains or a bedspread without overpowering the room.
