About this fabric

This 138cm-wide chenille combines 87% polyester with 13% cotton, creating the softly textured upholstery surface visible in the swatch. Its deep brown has copper and rust undertones, while the uneven loops and flecks catch the light across the face of the cloth. MIR3844 is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery, making the substantial woven texture suitable for seating applications in either setting. Aftercare is professional; flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm russet-brown on an armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its coppery depth can sit alongside tobacco leather, walnut timber and softly aged neutrals. The tactile weave also works well as a grounding counterpoint to lighter boucle, linen or painted finishes.

A warm russet-brown chenille that brings tactile depth to domestic and contract upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
