Mirto FabricMIR3841

MIR3841 is a quietly textured chenille in a warm taupe-brown shade, with a softly flecked surface that shifts gently between beige, grey and brown. Its close, nubby weave gives the colour a grounded, tactile appearance rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 87% polyester and 13% cotton, this 138cm chenille has a substantial, even texture suited to upholstered furniture. The taupe-brown colourway is muted and earthy, with fine tonal variation visible across the surface as the pile catches the light. It is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery, with professional aftercare specified. Flame retardancy is suitable for Domestic Cig & Match and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this warm, weathered taupe-brown with natural timber, oat linen and soft cream upholstery for a calm, layered scheme. It also works as a grounding cover on a contemporary sofa or occasional chair where its tonal texture can do the visual work without a pattern.

Use this warm taupe-brown chenille to bring soft, earthy depth to sofas, headboards and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
