About this fabric

Woven from 70% cotton and 30% jute, Bunty Brown has a grounded brown palette that reads warm and earthy rather than cool or neutral. Narrow cream chevrons run alongside darker vertical bands, while turquoise, orange and charcoal dashes add small flashes of colour without overpowering the russet ground. The 134 cm width and 37 cm vertical pattern repeat make the stripe suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The horizontal repeat is 33.5 cm, allowing the alternating stripe arrangement to remain clearly legible across a larger surface.

How to use it

Use Bunty Brown on a relaxed armchair, bench or loose-covered sofa, then echo its turquoise and orange details in cushions or a small painted accent. Its warm brown depth also makes it an inviting choice for full-length curtains or a tailored bedspread.

A warm, textured stripe with graphic cream chevrons and small turquoise and orange accents for relaxed upholstery, curtains or bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bunty Brown without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
