Baker House Linens FabricBF10961.350
Baker House Linen Chestnut is a quietly textural plain linen in a warm chestnut-brown shade. Its fine, irregular crosshatch gives the surface visible depth without introducing a printed motif.

About this fabric
The colour reads as an earthy mid-brown with a softly warmed, almost russet cast, while the woven surface catches the light across its fine horizontal and vertical threads. Made from 100% linen, this fabric is 137 cm (53.82") wide and specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The close-up shows a natural linen texture with subtle variation in the yarns rather than a perfectly flat finish. Care instructions are do not wash, professionally dry clean only, do not bleach and do not iron.
How to use it
Use the chestnut tone to add grounded warmth to a relaxed sitting room, whether on a loose-covered chair or as full curtains. It also suits bedspreads where its natural crosshatched texture can soften a simple, earthy scheme.
A warm, textural linen that brings relaxed earthy depth to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Baker House Linen Chestnut is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
