Baker House Linen Emerald

Baker House Linens FabricBF10961.785

Baker House Linen Emerald is a softly shaded green linen with a fine, visible crossweave. Its blue-leaning emerald tone reads as deep and muted rather than bright, while the surface catches the light in subtle vertical and horizontal threads.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this plain cloth shows the naturally irregular texture and delicate slubbing visible across the emerald surface. The cool green tone shifts gently between teal and forest notes as the light moves across the weave, giving the colour depth without a printed motif. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered furniture, while care requires professional dry cleaning; it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use this muted emerald on a relaxed armchair, loose cover or full-length curtain where its cool depth can sit against warm wood, natural linen and softly neutral walls. It also brings a quiet, botanical feel to a bedspread without relying on a pattern.

The muted emerald tone and fine linen texture bring understated colour to curtains, upholstery and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
