About this fabric

The swatch shows charcoal-grey threads crossed with subtle blue-grey and lighter strands, creating a softly irregular, tactile weave rather than a flat solid colour. Made from 100% linen and measuring 137 cm wide, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on seating, while the deep charcoal tone gives upholstered pieces a composed, tailored appearance. Care is dry clean only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this cool charcoal colourway to anchor pale stone, chalk and weathered timber schemes, or pair it with brushed metal and inky blue for a more architectural room. Its fine weave will read quietly on curtains while adding restrained texture to sofas, headboards and bedspreads.

A cool charcoal linen with a fine crosswoven texture, equally suited to tailored upholstery and full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
