Blizzard Silver
Essential Colours II FabricBF10684.925
Blizzard Silver is a pale silver-greige textile with a calm, finely woven surface. In the swatch, its understated colour shifts gently between cool silver and a soft warm neutral as the fine vertical grain catches the light.

About this fabric
The close view shows a quiet plain weave rather than a printed motif, with delicate tonal striations giving the surface its depth. Its restrained silver-greige tone feels light and airy, while the closely set threads keep the finish looking tailored rather than stark. Made from 45% viscose, 35% cotton, 16% linen and 4% polyester, the 137 cm wide fabric is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 40,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered seating as well as softer furnishings.
How to use it
Use Blizzard Silver to lighten a sofa or armchair with a cool neutral foundation, then layer in chalky whites, pale timber and brushed metal. Its subtle woven grain also makes calm full-length curtains or a coordinated bedspread without introducing a strong pattern.
A quietly refined silver-greige weave for tailored upholstery, curtains and softly coordinated bedspreads.

Pairs well with
Blizzard Silver is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
