Dara Oatmeal

Essential Colours II FabricBF10727.230

Dara Oatmeal has a softly warm beige appearance, with a minute interlocking geometric texture visible across the face of the swatch. Its low-contrast surface gives the colour a quiet, lightly dimensional finish rather than a flat plain look.

About this fabric

Made from 42% viscose, 32% cotton, 22% linen and 4% polyester, this 137 cm-wide fabric combines a fine textile texture with a gently tactile appearance. The oatmeal tone sits between creamy beige and pale taupe, while the tiny repeated geometry adds subtle depth without introducing a strong colour contrast. The pattern repeats every 2 cm vertically and 3 cm horizontally, keeping the motif discreet at upholstery scale. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use Dara Oatmeal to bring a warm, pale beige note to an upholstered chair, headboard or sofa, or carry it through curtains and bedspreads for a softly coordinated scheme. Its restrained geometric texture works particularly well with natural timber, ivory textiles and muted taupe accents.

A warm oatmeal ground with a fine woven geometry that suits relaxed upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
