Esker Oatmeal

Essential Colours FabricBF10685.230

Esker Oatmeal has a warm, softly mottled beige appearance, with fine horizontal texture giving the plain weave subtle depth. Its restrained colour keeps the surface calm while the closely woven yarns catch the light gently.

About this fabric

Made from 40% viscose, 38% cotton, 16% linen and 6% polyester, Esker Oatmeal combines a natural-looking fibre character with a lightly slubbed woven surface. The oatmeal tone sits between warm beige and soft stone, with delicate flecks and horizontal variation visible across the swatch rather than a completely flat colour. At 137 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 40,000 Martindale rub test makes it a practical choice for upholstered pieces, while professional dry cleaning is required; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this warm oatmeal shade to soften a tailored sofa, occasional chair or headboard, or let it form a quiet curtain and bedspread scheme alongside timber, natural linens and deeper taupe accents.

A softly textured oatmeal weave for relaxed upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
