Grand Canyon Parchment

Essential Colours II FabricBF10878.225

Grand Canyon Parchment has a softly warm, parchment-toned ground with a fine woven chevron texture that gives the pale neutral colour gentle depth. The close, even pattern reads as understated rather than decorative, with the weave catching the light in delicate vertical bands.

About this fabric

Woven from 42% viscose, 33% linen, 21% cotton and 4% polyester, this 140 cm fabric combines a natural-looking surface with a subtly structured hand. Its fine herringbone effect is formed from closely spaced angled lines, creating a restrained rhythm across the warm beige ground. A 6 cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the design visually quiet and easy to coordinate. With a 30,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use the parchment beige on a tailored sofa or occasional chair where its small-scale woven texture can add interest without introducing a strong pattern. It also suits full-length curtains or a bedspread in rooms layered with ivory, oatmeal, pale timber and muted earthy accents.

A warm, quietly textured neutral for tailored upholstery, curtains and layered bedroom schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
