About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this 137 cm-wide velvet has a warm flax-beige tone with a subtle taupe cast rather than a bright or yellowed beige. The close, even pile gives the plain cloth a softly brushed appearance, while the nap creates delicate shifts between lighter and darker areas across the swatch. With a 50,000 Martindale rub-test rating, it is specified for fixed upholstery as well as curtains and bedspreads. After care requires a cool machine wash as a minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying or bleaching, and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use this warm flax beige to bring softness to a tailored armchair, headboard or upholstered bench, balancing the velvet with chalky whites, natural timber and deeper taupe accents. As curtains or a bedspread, its muted tone adds gentle depth without introducing a strong pattern.
