Pure Scroll Embroidery Flax

Pure Morris North Fabrics FabricMOF0108-02

Pure Scroll Embroidery Flax pairs a warm, pale flax-beige ground with orderly rows of ivory scroll embroidery. The light motifs create a softly defined geometric rhythm across the cloth without overpowering its neutral tone.

About this fabric

The visible design is made up of small, square-set scroll emblems arranged in regular horizontal and vertical rows, with the ivory embroidery standing clearly against the flax-coloured ground. Its warm beige tone is gentle rather than grey, while the pale motifs catch the light with a softly chalky contrast. At 336 gsm and 31 threads per cm, this is a substantial textile with a defined woven presence for upholstery use. The fabric has a useable width of 136 cm, a standard length of 30 m, and a measured pattern repeat of 22.5 cm vertically by 22.7 cm horizontally.

How to use it

Use this warm flax colourway on a classic armchair, dining seat or headboard where the ivory scrolls can read as a quiet decorative detail. Pair it with natural wood, warm stone and muted cream textiles to keep the room light but grounded.

A warm flax-beige upholstery fabric with ivory embroidered scrolls, suited to classic seating and softly layered neutral schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pure Scroll Embroidery Flax without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
