Pure Scroll Embroidery Linen

Pure Morris North Fabrics FabricMOF0108-01

Pure Scroll Embroidery Linen has a softly luminous ivory-cream ground, overlaid with white embroidered scroll motifs arranged in neat square repeats. The low-contrast colourway gives the pattern a quiet, chalky definition rather than a bold graphic effect.

About this fabric

The 336gsm cloth has a substantial, softly textured appearance, while the white embroidery catches the light against the warmer cream ground. Each compact scroll motif sits within a square framework, creating an orderly all-over design across the 136cm usable width. With a 22.5cm vertical repeat and 22.7cm horizontal repeat, the pattern reads as a consistent small-scale rhythm on a blind, curtain or upholstered panel. The stated 31 threads per centimetre support the closely woven look visible in the swatch.

How to use it

Use this soft ivory colourway where a room needs gentle pattern without strong contrast: it would bring a light, quietly tailored finish to a bedroom curtain, roman blind or occasional chair. Pair it with warm white, pale oak and muted stone tones to echo the swatch’s creamy depth.

A softly textured ivory linen with white embroidered scrolls, suited to curtains, blinds and lighter upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
