About this fabric

This 140 cm wide fabric has a 62 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 70 cm horizontal repeat, giving the floral arrangement a clearly repeating but continuous-looking rhythm. The Black Ink colourway reads as charcoal grey rather than a flat, absolute black, with ivory flowers, pale grey foliage and small warm beige accents adding depth. At 285 gsm and 29.9 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, closely woven presence suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The dense botanical drawing is especially visible in the contrast between the light blooms and the shaded ground.

How to use it

Use this cool grey-black colourway on a reading chair, ottoman or full-length curtains where its ivory flowers can lift a darker scheme. Pair it with chalky neutrals, aged timber and soft grey upholstery to echo the print’s restrained, slightly historic palette.
