About this fabric

The ivory-flax base is lightly textured, while the beige linework creates a dense Morris-style arrangement of leaves, stems, flowers and small rabbits across the cloth. At 380gsm and 140cm usable width, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstery rather than a fine, fluid curtain cloth. The pattern measures 69.5cm vertically by 35cm horizontally, giving the delicate repeat enough presence to read clearly on a larger upholstered surface. Its supplied specification also records 85 threads per centimetre and a standard 25m length.

How to use it

Use this warm ivory colourway on a statement armchair, window seat or sofa where its fine beige drawing can be appreciated close up. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and muted flax tones to keep the room as light and softly layered as the fabric itself.

A pale flax neutral with delicate Morris foliage and rabbit motifs for upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
