About this fabric

Large ivory honeysuckle and tulip flowers stand out across the dark purple ground, with their pale petals catching the light against curling grey and lilac foliage. Smaller cream flowers, leaves and scrolling stems fill the spaces between the principal blooms, giving the 57 cm vertical and 64.7 cm horizontal repeat a dense, tapestry-like rhythm. At 370 gsm with 38 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial woven presence suited to upholstery. Its 129.5 cm useable width allows the floral composition to read generously across a chair, headboard or upholstered panel.

How to use it

Pair the cool inky-purple ground with chalky ivory, smoky grey and aged timber for a moody, considered scheme. On an occasional chair or statement headboard, the pale blooms provide a strong focal contrast without losing the depth of the background.

The dense 370 gsm construction gives this richly patterned textile a substantial upholstery-weight presence.
