About this fabric
This colourway shows a dark aubergine purple with brown undertones, creating a saturated shade that feels refined rather than bright. The surface has a lightly mottled, velvety appearance, so the tone softens and deepens as it catches the light. Woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, it is built for demanding interiors, with an 80,000 Martindale rating and a back-coated finish to Cigarette & Match to BS5852. After-care is Professional Dry Clean In situ or Washable @ 40°C, with further instructions available in the pattern book.
How to use it
Use this aubergine on statement chairs, banquettes or bedside upholstery where its depth can anchor lighter walls and wood finishes. It pairs especially well with warm neutrals, brass details and smoked timber for a smart, atmospheric scheme.
