Hendrix Aubergine
Hendrix Fabric702
Hendrix Aubergine reads as a deep plum-purple with a softly mottled surface and a close, textured weave. The colour is насыщенный and shadowy, with warmer burgundy notes where the light catches the cloth.

About this fabric
This colourway shows a dense, small-scale plain weave with a subtly heathered texture rather than a flat finish. Hendrix is specified as a contract fabric, with a composition of 91% Polyester and 9% Nylon/Polyamide, and a heavy-duty Martindale rating of 100,000, making it well suited to hard-working upholstery schemes. The aubergine shade appears dark and concentrated, sitting between plum and wine, with tiny reflective highlights that break up the surface and give it depth. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and professional dry clean in situ is advised for after care.
How to use it
Use this aubergine on a sofa, banquette or accent chair where the rich purple tone can anchor lighter neutrals and brass details. It works especially well in smart contract interiors that need a darker, more atmospheric finish.
A rich plum tone that adds depth to tailored seating and contract interiors.

Pairs well with
Hendrix Aubergine is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
