About this fabric

This Hendrix colourway has the compact, even texture of a hard-working plain, giving the surface a crisp woven appearance in a deep bordeaux tone. The 91% polyester and 9% nylon/polyamide composition supports its contract use, while the 100,000 Martindale rating indicates serious durability for busy interiors. Its BS5852 cigarette & match back-coating makes it suitable where fire performance is required, and the rich red-brown depth helps the weave feel softer and more luxurious to the eye. Professional dry clean in situ is advised, with further care to follow the pattern book instructions.

How to use it

Use Bordeaux on statement chairs, banquettes or contract seating where a darker red will add warmth without looking flashy. It pairs well with walnut, aged brass and charcoal for a smart, atmospheric scheme.

A rich wine tone that adds depth and polish to tailored seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
