Hendrix Chestnut
Hendrix Fabric102
Hendrix Chestnut reads as a deep, weathered brown with a subtle mottled weave that gives the surface quiet depth. The close texture and low-sheen finish make it feel practical and tailored rather than glossy.

About this fabric
This Chestnut colourway has a dark, earthy brown base with lighter flecks worked through the weave, so the surface feels textural and gently variegated in the light. It is a plain from the Hendrix collection, one of 41 patterns, and the contract specification is reinforced by a 100,000 Martindale rub test. The composition of 91% Polyester and 9% Nylon/Polyamide supports its hard-working character, while the supplied back coating is Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request. Professional dry clean in situ is advised, with further care details in the pattern book. The overall effect is robust and understated, ideal where a rich neutral is needed without a flat or uniform finish.
How to use it
Use Hendrix Chestnut on sofas, banquettes or upholstered dining chairs where the warm brown tone will soften sharp lines. It pairs especially well with tan leather, aged wood and muted olive or oatmeal accents.
A warm, grounded brown that works well on tailored seating and contract schemes.

Pairs well with
Hendrix Chestnut is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
