About this fabric

Verini Woodland Retreat Bordeaux Wavy is woven in a 59% Polyester, 24% Cotton, 13% Viscose and 3% Linen mix with a usable width of 142cm and a 20,000 martindale, making it suitable for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The print shows repeated owls nestled among layered leafy branches, with the motif flowing across a burgundy-red background in a gently undulating repeat. The colourway reads as warm and saturated rather than bright, with the bordeaux ground giving the cream, sage and olive details a soft, autumnal contrast. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, so it can be specified across a coordinated scheme.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an occasional chair, ottoman or curtains where you want the deep red ground to add warmth without feeling flashy. It works especially well with aged brass, walnut and muted green accents.
