About this fabric

Verini Woodland Retreat Bordeaux Flat is woven in a 59% Polyester 24% Cotton 13% Viscose 3% Linen blend with a usable width of 142cm and a Martindale rating of 20,000, making it suitable for General Domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The colourway shows a rich bordeaux-red ground with softly muted moss, sage and eau-de-nil foliage, plus natural tan trunks and woodland animals worked into the repeat. Its surface reads as a printed or woven decorative cloth with a slightly softened handle rather than a crisp, cool finish. The 35cm horizontal and 23cm vertical repeat support the large, illustrative scale of the trees, deer and owls across the cloth. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, so the design can be used confidently in scheme-led interiors.

How to use it

This bordeaux version works well as a feature fabric on an upholstered chair, banquette or ottoman, where the dark ground helps the pale foliage and wildlife pop. It also makes striking curtains in a room with oak, aged brass or warm neutrals, bringing depth without losing the woodland detail.
